About Vallee Voices

Vallee Voices is an oral history project to record the memories of those who personally knew Bert and Kuggie Vallee and the origins of the Vallee Foundation.  Compliations of shorter comments are collected under themes such as "Bert Vallee as a Scientist" and interspersed with longer interviews.  

Creative Director: Alexa M Mason, The Vallee Foundation Alexa is the Vallee Foundation’s Executive Director with responsibility for day-to-day direction and management.  She has worked with accomplished scientists and scholars from around the world for more than 30 years both through Harvard University and the Vallee Foundation, which she joined in 2013.

Oral History Editor: Anna Bensted Anna has 30 years' experience as producer and program director in public radio: from 1982 to 1997 for the BBC in the UK and from 1997 to 2011 for WBUR, the National Public Radio station in Boston.  From 2011 to 2015 she was the Manager for Community Engagement at Villa I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence, Italy.  She divides her time between Florence and Cambridge, Massachusetts.    

Web Producer and Editor:  Kate Cotter, Strategy Implemented, Inc Kate has over a decade of experience in managing large, multi-faceted digital media projects in educational, healthcare, financial and marketing industries. With expertise in technology innovation implementation, content development, and project management she has built and managed quality digital programs that bring her clients' vision to life in unexpected and delightful ways.
