Sinem K Saka, PhD
Sinem Saka, PhD, completed her BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey in 2008. She earned her PhD in Molecular Biology in 2013 from the University of Goettingen, Germany, where she was a Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds PhD Fellow in the International Max Planck Research School, investigating protein organization in cellular membranes. She is a current Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) and previous EMBO postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and the Wyss Institute for Bioinspired Engineering at Harvard University, Boston, USA. Her present research focus is to develop highly multiplexed labeling and super-resolution imaging techniques to investigate the nanoscale organization in cells.
