Moshe Yaniv

Moshe Yaniv is an Emeritus Professor at the Pasteur Institut and Directeur de Recherche (CNRS). From 1975 to 2006, he was head of the Gene Expression and Disease Unit at the Pasteur. He is a pioneer in the field of DNA tumor viruses, and combined it with studies on chromatin, tissue specific gene expression and mouse models for human diseases including cancer. He came to work in Peter Howley’s lab at HMS for his VVP sabbaticals in 2001 and 2003 and helped organize the Vallee Summer Meeting in Annecy, France in 2002.
