Every year, between 20 and 25 Nobel Laureates from the fields of physiology or medicine, physics, chemistry and the economic sciences spend a week in the Lake Constance area to meet the next generation of leading scientists at a meeting organized by the Council and Foundation for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. The Vallee
Foundation supports gifted, motivated and productive young scientists to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings in the life sciences. Applicants under the age of 35 without a permanent professional working position may apply directly to a Lindau Meeting Academic Partner in their own country. The application period for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting opens each year in the September prior to the Meeting.
